Replace Angel Eye bulb for LED help

Today I received my replacement LED kit for my angel eyes for my 2008 X3. I guess it turns out that my car doesn't have the H8 bulb, but rather an H6 bulb. What I received as a direct replacement in LED form does not fit at all. I kept thinking I was pulling the wrong bulb, but is not the case.

Does anyone know if they make a replacement for the lights that my car is outfitted with? It's pretty dang frustrating as I ordered the part for a "2008 BMW X3 E83," which is exactly what I've got. I guess maybe they used the light setup from a 2007?

Does anyone know anything about this stuff??

Your help is extremely appreciated. I just hope the guy on eBay will take my stuff back!!!

Here is the link to what I ordered:

Here is my car, my headlights, and the bulb that powers the angel eyes, or rather, AMBER eyes -- and again, I have no idea why this doesn't fit like it was supposed to. I only thought to go for this because i read so many posts that said, "Took me five minutes. Results are amazing."

I ordered some today from here. https://beyonddrivenauto.com/bmw-angel-eyes-LED-upgrade-E39-E60-E63-E64-E53-X5

It's the same bulb that goes in the e39 and some X5s. I ordered the 32w version. I installed the 10w bulbs in my e90 and they look great, nice and bright.

This. The eBay ad linked above is not for the E83. The first gen X3 uses the same Angel Eye setup as the original E39, not the e9x and others H8.

Umnitza makes a decent led bulb (ICE v6), but they're expensive for what it is at $100. They're just aren't many bulb options for this type.

Are there 2x AE on each side? Or is one the AE bulb and the other the Xenon/Halogen beam?

One bulb per side. Fiber optics carry the light from the light box the bulb shines into over to all 4 ends of the rings in one headlight housing. The AE bulb is separate from the low and high beam bulbs.
