Roundel.....

Roundel removal question. On my old X5 I changed the roundels to black fairly easily - the hood was held by grommets and the rear was adhesived. I am attempting the same on my 2008 X3 and finding it difficult - and yes I have searched this and other forums! The hood roundel seems to be either adhesived on or the grommets are only accesable under the hood latch mechanism. The rear would appear to be adhesived on but I cannot get under it to attempt to lift it for the life of me - I've used plastic body shop tools etc etc. Anyone have any helpful hints? Thanks very much in advance. John (This is a picture of the old X5)

Did you ever get around to completing this? I've been researching the rear roundel for quite sometime now, but can never find a concrete answer.

It looks like the roundel is set into the chrome mount on the rear hatch, or is it just one piece and not 2 pieces?

I'm hoping you went about this and could offer me some feedback, thanks!
