I don't think you can "adjust" the trigger points. You can only enable or disable the Cold and Warm checks. It's all or none.

For rear turn signals that has already been done on my vehicle.

I think it would be odd if the same adjustment couldn't be done for other bulbs as well.

So what was it exactly you coded for the rear turn signals?

hey guys, I coded my E92 with a K+DCAN USB cable. Can this be used for an F25? Or does it have to be an ethernet cable?

DCAN Interface is for Exx only and ENET Interface is for Fxx only.

I did not code, it was coded. There were lines for that, but they didn't have actual ampere values.

I had regular bulbs replaced with LEDs in rear turn signals and the OBD warned that bulbs are out, even though the LED bulbs were ok. The problem was, that OBD "saw" too little ampere (resistance) and thought they are gone.

Instead of switching the bulb warnings off, the trip level was lowered. Now there are no warnings, unless I detach the bulbs and then it gives warning.

The reason for this setting trip levels lower was that I still get warning if the LED bulb dies. If the warning system is disabled and the bulb dies, there is no warning message.

...
So, I would ask whomever coded it then what FDL Code changes he made to adjust the Trigger Levels, as I have never heard of coding such a thing, and then see if those same FDL Codes exists for the Turning Lights and Reversing Lights.

Hi

I appreciate its probably a long shot but can coding be the answer to enabling traffic info on my 2014 F25 with pro nav (NBT I take it) and DAB+ down here in Australia?

I have researched the RDS-TMC requirements and am to believe there are 3 main requirements:
1. RDS Radio with RDS-TMC receiver
2. Nav unit with TMC evaluation and display capabilities
3. Maps with TMC tables on it

Further, I am to believe the Australian TMC channel is conditional access and relies on manufacturers having commercial arrangements with Suna TMC (www.sunatraffic.com.au) so may not be plug-and-play as in other countries. As such I don't know if the coding changes I've seen mentioned in a couple of other posts (notably http://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1003559) are the simple answer.

If the above is a no-go for TMC, can a FSC code enable 6NR (BMW apps currently not available in my car) and/or 6AM (RTTI)?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Mods: I'm new here so if this is the wrong thread please move this to the correct one.

Thanks to shawn and april1. I have coded my MY2014 X3 for enhanced blue tooth by changing 6NH to 6NK. I ordered it basic with no additions (no nav). I still want to see if it is possible to get the voice commands button working to activate my iPhone 5. Anyone know if it is possible with my build? I have BMW Assist. Should I have changed the FA to 6NL or 6NS?

Thanks!
