LED Adaptive headlight malfunction?

Twice now when going through a roundabout at night, as soon as I exit I get an error pop up on the hud and dash: Adaptive Headlight Failure and it stays on until I've turned the car off and back on again. Anyone else experience this and the bigger question, does it mean that they're (motors?) on their way out?

If you pull the stored errors (preferably with ista+), it may help point to which component is causing the error. I assume this is when turning in a left circle? I'd go into a parking lot and test it by turning in a right circle as well as a left circle for additional data points to determine if it only errors in one direction and how repeatable the error is.
