Even after reading the description, it's still not clear what I'll be getting for $264.

If all I'm after is being able to select and control the music on my iPhone, do these adapters do anything for me? If I don't get these adapters, can I still control my iPhone 4S somehow? (Is it through cables or through Bluetooth?)


It says that this only works if you get the Smart Phone Integration option (6NF) or BMW Apps (6NR).

Since I'm not getting the Technology package, I can't get 6NR and I don't see the 6NF option anywhere. So, is getting the adapters a moot issue? Or is the Smart Phone Integration option part of the base package?
