F25 headlight upgrade?

Hi all,

I was looking at a 2011 F25 that has everything I wanted, except it doesn't have the Xenons.

Retrofitting adaptive Xenons is incredibly expensive according to other threads, and I have them on my current car, but I can live without them. What I don't like is the halogen look, seems like the Xenons and Angel eyes should be standard.

My question is, short of a full OEM retrofit, has anybody used or seen any products/solutions that make these lights look a little more modern?

You are pretty much out of luck unless you want to blind people with the fake ones

While I can understand you being able to live without the 'adaptive' capability, good lighting is a must.

If you really wanted any new car to have Xenons (or, presumably, LEDs), then, IMO, it's time to walk away from this one - you've got used to them on your current car and whatever you do to halogens they'll never be as good so unless you do an OEM retrofit, you'll never really be happy and it'll ruin your enjoyment of the vehicle

True. But if the price is right you might be inclined to overlook that feature. having anything other that halogen could turn out to be really expensive if it breaks.

maybe he is not a car guy that has to have the lighting conditions you like. Look... in my opinion, drive the car at night and see if you could live with halogens.

if the price is right go for it so that if you go for xenon's later on, you come on top... other wise, try to find one with xenon's. I have seen xenon retrofits on the cheap with used parts of course, ranging around 700 bucks if you learn to code the lights your self...

I was in the same boat as you before - it bugged me for the first month but honestly I got over it.

It's nice to have yeah, and it looks super sleek, but honestly every single BMW that I see driving around has it and it doesn't make it that unique. plus, It's not worth spending a couple grand just to make it look cool to others, since you won't be able to see it yourself really.

I'm liking my normal, old and cheap halogens - do like some aspects of how it looks. I have other unique packages that other BMWs don't have so I'm all good
