New Car Smell

Hey Guys,

I was looking at some products to reproduce the new car BMW smell in my MSport ride. Has anyone tried the New Car Smell by Chemical Guys? I've ordered a bottle to see if it can sort of replicate that awesome smell when I took it out of the showroom. Does anybody have suggestions? Thanks in advance as your feedback helps.

I've been trying to find something good for my M-Sport as well. I did use this product but cant recommend it.

its an odd "sharp" smell that does not leave your car smelling like a "new car". The other Chemical Guys products are pretty much the same. Also, the smell does not last very long, maybe a few days. I think Meguiars "Whole Car Air Re-Fresher" is a better bet.

I think buying a new car is the best way to get a new car smell.

You don't need anything. It is a car not a woman!

Tried the leather conditioner on the wife. Not all good. It's quite nice living in the garage.

I can still smell the Morris Minor with - full? - leather, that my father brought home. Probably my-54. Green - BRG? - and brown leather.

I am very anal about air quality whether in the car or the home. My best suggestion is washing the carpets once every three months and using a leather cleaner and conditioner twice as much. Bare minimum is vacuum cleaning the carpets twice a month.

Carpets harbour a lot of bacteria and is the reason why the new car smell "dissappear". Keep the car clean and the smell of the trim and plastics will come through.

I also advice spraying carpets with a bacteria killing but odorless room refresher and then running the AC on max for 5min.
