I agree OP should distribute this story to as many places as possible and to file a case with CHP/local sheriff. At least they will have something on file. All we can hope is a cool LEO will find Mr Douche and have a nice conversation with him and letting him know he is tagged.
His line at 4:36 seems way off. I'm no expert and I haven't run Big Willow, someone chime in?

Here's the thing about this guy, as a soon as I saw him I started flashing my high beams at him. If you look at the video he had a full 3 seconds of time to go full threshold braking and back into his lane, but he didn't. Why not?!?! Well, I'd venture to say he's done it enough times to where he's now thinks he's immune to the laws of physics and general driving rules. Also, he's probably thinking 'how dare a lowly Fiat pull me on a straight'! Yeah, ego gets people killed. I just don't want to be on the receiving end of this guy's asinine driving skills.

If he suffers some embarrassment from being outed and roasted on social media, maybe that'll teach him. Certainly getting a ticket by the CHP and posting it online hasn't taught him.

I guess I missed the ticket. What was it for? Speed? Reckless? Danger to humanity?

Speeding, he got it 5 minutes after his double yellow line outside corner blind pass with two on coming motorcyclists. See my post: http://e84.xbimmers.com/forums/showp...2&postcount=77

Have you posted this on various Motorcycle forums, SoCal sub sections? They do not take kindly to driving like this. Crossing double yellow is a big no-no on Cali canyon roads. The motorcycle crowd will not let him get away with this driving, if they know who to keep an eye out for.

There are too many canyon roads to patrol. They could never take the playground away, they don't have the resources to even begin to try.

perhaps you should contact the local DA and present the evidence and see what they say. Depending on the statue limitations and the evidence, perhaps he could have additional charges pressed. Statute is two years (I believe) in The peoples Republic of California

Wow, that double line pass at 13:30 just in front of those two bikers was absolutely horrible. Like Hack said, fatalities were 1-1.5 seconds away there.

I've done some really stupid crap back in the day in regards to speeding and street racing (talking 20 years ago), but even being as dumb as I was then I never passed on double lines and sure as hell not around a blind turn ffs.

Luckily in my own instance I received a reckless driving ticket, lots of points, cancelled insurance, and wised the hell up. No tickets in 12 years now.

Something has to be done about these guys, not all of us morons get a wake up call before we really hurt somebody else.

There is a difference between spirited driving and reckless endangerment. The more assholes like this out of ACH, the better. There are actually plenty of us who enjoy driving the ACH without putting others in danger. That means no crossing the double yellow, and certainly no passing unless it's safe. No "racing", and certainly giving right of way to ONCOMING traffic. This guy is a terd that needs to be flushed.

Don't trash the car because some owners are a**holes. After all this is a BMW forum.
