X3 LCI - known working coding options

As we have recently picked up our X3 LCI, I wanted to set some coding options to activate various features.

However it appears that the coding options on the new version differ in some respects from the pre-LCI and other Fxx cars so I thought it would be useful to have a thread listing tested options

If you look at the coding threads, there are options to do that but I was hoping we could keep this as a record of the options that people have tested and confirmed as working on the LCI model - I don't have surround cameras so I can't try it

This is one of the settings that I'll be changing - I'll report back if required.

If you do any coding on the LCI, it would be great if you could post the details of mods that work in this thread

Sure thing - I'll also post the details of any changes that required a low-loader back to the dealers!

I saw the OVT_BEI_RUECKFAHRLICHT code for the F2x/3x to get the door handle lights to come on while reversing and thought it would be a nice feature but the code is the FEM_BODY module and, apparently, there is no equivalent in the F25 FRM module.

Is the FEM body only on the latest F model cars then ?
The 135 had the new NBT nav also are they related ?

The F25 has FRM rather than FEM_BODY but, in truth, you're better asking those sorts of questions of the experts on the coding threads

You could try

FRM Module
- 3607 TÖPFERSCHEIBE
-- TÖPFERSCHEIBE_GELIEFERT
---> 607_verfügbar (Default: 607_nicht_verfügbar)

Doubt if it'll make any difference though

Some of things I coded on the M135 where
coasting mode when using eco pro
changed the start up screen on the idrive from the boring BMW one
door handle led's come on when reversing
mirrors to fold in when you lock the car
enabled bluetooth streaming as this is an extra with the pro nav cars now.

I've read that you can code the boot to close on the remote but ours is already able to do this so not sure if it's been coded previously.

One thing that is really crap is the standard speakers had the HK in the 1 series which was decent for the money.

i have looked for that string everywhere inside FRM and i havent been able to find it... i am sure that car is able to do it but perhaps this option is listed under another name...
