brake noise
2011 X3 35i
I've been hearing some squeaky noise when I apply the brake at low speed lately. No performance nor safety is affected. Has anyone experienced the similar problem? |

Yes, when the weather gets colder, my breaks squeak as I am coming to a slow stop or moving slowly forward with the break on. Happens every winter and goes away when it warms up. Doesn't happen all the time, just here and there. Hate it.

Thanks guys! That would explain where the noise comes from.
The winter in vancouver does get "cold" from time to time. The brakes make audible squeaky noise around 5 degrees Celsius or colder, but in summer those brakes are perfectly fine. I presume the brakes are affected by temperature. |
