Voice dialling bug?

Anyone else have the problem where using voice control to access the phone book and dial a contact brings up a screen full of blank entries? Voice control recognises the name and there seems to be an attempt to initiate the call but it always fails.

Twist the iDrive control and the screen populates with entries from the phone and subsequently works fine.

I'm using an iPhone 4 connected via BT. The phone always shows "call failed" when I remove it from the arm rest.

I experience that when I've just gotten into the car. If I wait a couple minutes it populates. Putting it into the snap in adapter syncs it up much faster.
