300 def not low but you get use to it, especially driving your Macan
imagine what the other 28i (240hp) are dealing with ? thats why it was a must for me to tune it 3 months into owning it added a $600 flat racechip to bring it to 35i stock power , wonder what a 35i w/ racechip compares to the Dinan st1 ... Cuz when I had racechip on the 28i and my friend had Dinan St1 on his 28i his felt faster (Butt) but RC won lol

Hopefully we get to see if the 35i Dinan St1 360/390 (crank) is faster or not than X4 M40i 355hp/343tq crank

Yea, I'm just doing a little more research (reading the other forums) before biting the bullet. Plus they also have an authorised dealer here in Australia, so that helps too

Got a quick question if you could assist with. I know there is an optional RC Ultimate Connect app which allows you to adjust the settings from your smartphone (Eco, Sport and Race), but you could also do it manually by opening the box and changing the dial B,C,D etc. Question is, the RC Ultimate on its own, what equivalent setting is it at default anyway? And is it worth getting the app? (about $50).

I'm a little risk averse, so like to be in a relative comfortable/safe setting with me meddling as little as possible.

Thanks!

Its def worth $50 as the app is free!

Guys with the JB4 piggyback tune need to shell out $140 for bluetooth kit + $30 for mobile app.

Do you actually own the Ultimate with Bluetooth version? When I emailed the US support team just today, they wrote me:

The bluetooth is not supported yet in North America. It will be listed on the US website when it is. Additional information will then be posted including what limitations the bluetooth option has versus regular switches inside the module.

Which also gets me thinking that maybe the changes to the knobs inside the unit may still need to be done manually...

And if you visit their Euro site, you see it doesn't mention anything about changing the dials using the app. It's only 3 performance "modes" you can pick from, which I'm guessing fine tune the dialed setting.

Dinan just released a mini-tune for n20/n26/n55 engines. Not offering the same warranty as the more costly tunes, but for $300 shipped, pretty decent price and looks super easy to install - in fact I'll be ordering one tomorrow for my x3 n20. Spec suggest 30hp & 50tq increase over stock on the 28i.

Full disclosure: I have a 235i with a Dinan S2.

I'm considering the Dinan Stage 1 for my X3 xDrive35i (2017).
Are there any coupon/discount codes available that anyone knows of?
