2006 BMW X3 3.0i Purchase
Hey Guys,
I looking at purchasing a 2006 BMW X3 from a friend of mine. The car has about 80,000 miles on it and from what my friend is telling me the only thing he remembers changing is the steering wheel sensor? and the transfer case replaced. From what I know no maintenance has been done on the car and I expect I need a major service performed on it. I looked at tunermotorsports.com to get a rough cost of parts that I need to perform a major service and it costs about $1,200.00. So I am thinking with labor it will cost about $2,500-$3,000.00 The maintenance is very comprehensive, so I don't know if everything is necessary. Any input and thought would be appreciated. spark plug replacement ignition coil and coil boot inspection and replacement fill and bleed cooling system transmission fluid change front and rear differential fluid change transfer case fluid change fuel filter replacement engine and A/C serpentine belt replacement replace belt roller pulleys and belt tensioners engine oil change with filter engine air filter replacement replace brake rotors replace brake pads brake fluid flush/bleeding Also is there any known issues with the 2006 X3? I just want to know what im getting into before purchase. Thanks for in advance. |
