Why doesn't anyone modify the E83's?
Ive been a LONG time bmw enthusiast with 3 previous builds and now a new to me 07 Msport acquired for the wife.
Ive been researching and bummed there isn't much to do on these cars as Im used to tearing things apart. I hope this changes.

What's to modify?
It's a tall e46 wagon. If you wanted something different you could have gotten that. ( above sounded snarky, was meant to be only sarcastic) But seriously, coding stuff, changing wheels, mild suspension changes are about all that are technically feasible. |

I went with H&R sport springs and sway bars. Dropped me about 1.5". Drives more like a 3 series touring now. Still not as low as some with coilovers, but I'm happy with the stance. New wheels are next after winter with a matte black grille. Currently running stock 18" wheels with PSS. I also installed a K&N air filter.
Only other performance mod I'm planning is to add a Supersprint rear exhaust. Remus stopped making their kit for the E83 non-diesel models. On the interior, I found a cheap LED kit on ebay and replaced all of my interior lights. I'm very happy with the soft white hues the LED throw.
