Hi all. I have a bmw x3 3.0 Sd now it was away running too cool from the temperature gauge this isn’t really causing a problem but it Identifies that the thermostat is Mabey stuck open?

I got the thermostat replaced yesterday and it’s still running at the same temperature. The gauge seems to go up and down a lot depending on my driving style. If I boot it, it goes up. If driving normal it’s down by the cold.

Is this normal or should it sit at half way like normal.
