2012 X3 rear brake service

Anyone know if there is a special procedure for dealing with the rear electronic handbrake when replacing pads?

Or do you simply push/spin the cylinder back in as per normal

Dealer says they have to connect the car to their system and put it into "test" mode

Any help would be great

There's a DIY on brakes. Search here using the keyword DIY and you'll find it.
