Zimmerman rotors are OE for F25?

I’ve read a lot about the Zimmerman/Akebono combo for bimmers and wanted to know if Zimmerman rotors are considered OE for my car generation (F25).

Thanks

Some say that it is. I only use ATE, Texstar, Brembo or TRW.

If I were forced to guess I would have said Ate. They are OEM for lots of German cars.

according to fcp euro, they are "after market"

(Bonus, you'd save $329 over "bmw" brand)

You may, or may not, be confusing two things. When I said OEM was Ate, I would expect that a "genuine BMW" rotor would not say Ate on it. It will say BMW and be twice the price. Just lie your suspension parts are made by Lemforder but are stamped BMW. Buy identical parts that say Lemforder and you get the same part at half the price.
