Advise on buying a 2015 BMW X3 XDRIVE2.8D

Hello everyone

I am thinking of buying a 2015 BMW X3 XDRIVE 2.8D with 133,367 km.

I just want to get your opinion on it and what I should look for in terms of issues and stuff like that.

Let me know what you think!

Thanks

There has been a couple recalls on the EGR Cooler. The first time, when I had it done, it fixed a slow coolant leak (one of the potential issues, since could lead to fire). The second I'm still waiting on getting done, I'll ask again when I take my car in for a parking light repair.

Thanks but I'm more interested in the diesel engine unless it has the same issues as the gas platform.

You're going to need to search/dig - Diesel engines in X3 cars are pretty few and far between in North America. Forum is not heavily trafficked with Euro car owners, they are here but pretty limited in numbers.

The particulate filter went out on my car too. Luckily, BMW was aware of the issue and there was a 10 year 120,000 mile warranty on it. Otherwise it would have been about a $1600 repair.
