The N20 is very well documented to make those same HP /torque figures with nothing but a burger quick tune. I'll toss one on soon so I can embarrass some X3 35i cause you know x3s line up and race all the time at stop lights. We could start an X3 racing league. Fastest to Walmart and back wins.

OP, I've got TWO N20's with high mileage. Both operating 100%. Nothing wrong with a well maintained N20 my friend

Drives like a charm. Is it comparable to my 235i inline 6? Nope. But I don't need 300+hp on my SUV.

Y'all are so dramatic. The 28i and 35i are both 14 second SUV's if you call half a second "night and day" you're just trolling. The N20 is an insanely reliable engine, ask how many have replaced their water pumps and coils compared to N55 owners.

Look at the difference in acceleration times. This is a significant difference and shows that the 35i is the one to get. Like I said earlier, the N20 really runs out of steam in the top end.

If you want more power, then the 35i is a better performer.
