Located in Austin Texas.

Thanks for all the great ideas on mods, care and coding.

You are not only moving to a smaller package - you are also adding joy of driving with 3000-7000 rpm instead of 2000-4500

I am curious. To have tuning - Dinan - installed by dealer is unheard of in Sweden - and I believe in all of Europe.
Cost?
Guarantee? We have only two years of guarantee.

Ever thought about lowering?

I picked Dinan because of the warranty that follows the new car warranty here in the states, 4 years or 50,000 miles. I like that these tunes are dealer installed too. I love the lowered look, but this is a lease and don't want the pain of reverting at lease end. Your x4 does look amazing.

I was thinking of tuning, but since no warranty, it`s a nogo. The thing is also that I don`t need it - I am satisfied with the performance. Engine and gearbox are a perfect match.

What bhp, torque with your tuning?

BHP = 360
Torque = 394

Given 1,000 pound lighter weight over the x5 diesel and nearly the same torque I'm excited to see how it drives.

I don`t think you will be disappointed. Only time I use max power is during overtaking on windy roads in the woods. I manually downgear to about 4000rpm, and will overtake "anything" in a couple of seconds, with only one upshift.

With your added power and torque, I would avoid too frequent auto-kickdowns, but use manual mode, which does not give you the slam-bang jerk of downgearing at full throttle

Congrats on the purchase JoeU.

My wife and I are close to buying a '16 X3 M sport 35i as well.
Would you mind (or any of the forum members) sharing what a ballpark range of % off MSRP is customary when buying these cars new?
My wife said she saw 7% somewhere, and we offered that % off, but they countered us to 4.5% off MSRP.
I'd list figures, but since each car has a different MSRP I figure it's easier to stick with a % off vs. a dollar figure for strike price.

It's tough cause my wife wants a specific color exterior/interior and in the 35i M sport package there just aren't a lot out there in '15 or '16 so it's tough to get a sweetheart deal on these things right now…

Anyways, lmk the deal you got if you don't mind sharing. Thanks so much, and enjoy the new ride!

Landed right at 7% off sticker, just over $4k discount. The best calculation I've made is this is roughly $1k over invoice. I'm leasing and my local dealer quoted me .00168 money factor, the selling deal is .00128. Hope this helps.

I lucked into the configuration I did as it is nearly exactly how I would order one. Given a bit more time I would have done the performance center delivery.

Thanks so much Joe! This is very helpful.
This is the only white one in Cali we can find anywhere, so I think we're going to have to pay a few hundred more to get it, but we're going to counter back firm at 6% off, otherwise we'll walk and wait a few months for more inventory on the '16's.
Thanks again man

New to the forums as well. I'm in LA and we just recently leased a 2016 X3 35i carbon black metallic on black, with surround view, 20" M wheels, M Sport, Cold Weather, Premium, Technology, and Driver Assistance packages. MSRP was $59,100 and agreed upon value (according to our lease agreement) is $52,995. Our deal was $6000 drive off (includes acquisition fee, first month, reg, tax, and miscellaneous fees), $650/mo including tax for 36 months. I think our money factor was .00129. Not sure if it's a good deal, but it was what we were looking for. I used True Car to figure out what price to start at and negotiated it from there. True Car is showing $500 over invoice. Hope that helps. My advice is not to get stuck on the color, especially if you're thinking about leasing (I know you said you were planning on buying). Otherwise they'll use that against you.
