Picked up the car today, can't thank Jim Thomson and the team at Stevens Creek BMW enough for a great experience. I had an opportunity to drive an i4 M50 prior to dealing with my car. I have one ordered for Juiy delivery. It was very impressive to say the least I did not win the tire lottery However, I have new Michelins in the garage, that will be the first order of business I deal with along with my spacers. Driving back to LA Saturday!

Continental Sport Contact 6

Hankook won a deal to put Ventus S1 evo Z on these cars but I have not seen it once to date.

Every delivery photo on this forum that I see is the Contis with a few lucky Michelins sprinkled in here and there.

This is my 3rd X3M that came with the awful Continental Sport Contacts. I have a set of Michelins that I was lucky enough to purchase from a fellow board member who needed all seasons and sold me his Michelins off his 22 X4MC with 45 miles on them. I would not want Hankooks on my X3MC period.

I have had a few different shades of Blue on my M cars. Avus, Interlagos, which used to be my favorite until I picked up the MBB yesterday. I will post more pics when I get back to Los Angeles this weekend. The weather sucks in San Francisco so not the most ideal conditions
for pics.

I can say this, I originally ordered BGM with Sahkir which is a rad combo. However, I started to see every base model X3 in that color and wanted something a little bit more unique for an X3M, my other choice would have been SPY with black. If you have not seen an in X3M in MBB and contemplating ordering this color just do it! You will not be disappointed.

The overwhelming majority of folks on here will tell you that the Contis are much worse. A small minority likes them.

I'm just waiting to wear out my Contis to find out if it's true. For now, I don't mind them given it's my first time on 'Max Performance Summer' tires

I only have 100 miles on so far. I can honestly say I don't feel any difference between the 2022 yet and my previous 2020 X3M and 2021 X3MC.

I do like the front end and rear end better. The interior seems to be slightly upgraded. One thing I did notice and don't recall from my 2021 is the ability to now turn off the stupid gesture controls which interfere with my Valentine one Radar. In my previous X3M's I had to disable the Lassr on the valentine unit so the gesture controls would not set off laser alerts.

I LOVE the color of your X3M! And that is a strong statement about Interlagos! My prior BMW was an E46 M3 in that color and it was my favorite color ever - I would love to see this new blue in person. Had it been available in 2020 I would have gotten it.


Edit - My favorite thing about the color was how it changed to a purplish hue in certain lighting.
