After what has seemed like an eternity, my new X3 M Sport has finally arrived.

Only the first evening, so the light conditions weren't great. I will try and post some more photos the next time we have some sun. I live in the UK, so that could be some time!

Day one over and I am impressed. I was a lttle concerned that coming from a current shape 5 series, I would notice a difference in quality. Not so. The interior is superbly put together with very little intrusion from road or wind.

The adaptive suspension is another really impressive feature. I hired a 2015 X3 M Sport for a skiing trip to France in February. It was a standard car on standard suspension. Whilst I found the ride comfortable and not too hard, it wasn't that planted at speed. Driving along the french motorways at 90mph (sorry officer) demanded a high degree of concentration, due to it's skittish nature. The adaptive suspension, whilst more compliant, is totally planted at higher speeds. Added to this, the ability to firm everything up for a bit of fun, makes this a 'must have' option.
