Any "secret" incentives on X3?

We are looking seriously at the X3 after looking at Acadia, GLK, and MDX(not sure if we can wait till the new model at dealers).
Are there any incentives happening right now that you guys know about? Dealers aren't that up front on what's happening unless you walk in already knowing.

In Canada we have not seem any cash incentives on the X3, just lease rate specials. I was surprised to see cash incentives on the 3 series though.

I think they have the $750 loyalty incentive. That's if you finance through BMW.
I think the X3 is still one of their top sellers so they don't need to do much to get folks to buy. (Lower inventories vs. demand)

It is always good to know as much if not more than your negotiating partner. If your salesman does not bring up these incentives and try to qualify you for every one available, then that will tell you a lot about him and that dealer. This is easy money for them.

There is a $1250 incentive if you are a USAA member and do not finance through BMW. I think that is still valid and good through July, if memory serves me correctly.

There is also the Turn-Key Payment Credit available towards leasing to owners or lessees with a current BMW Financial Services contract. BMW Financial Services will make your first payment up to $500.

Members of the BMW Car Club of America can get a $500 rebate on a new X3. http://www.bmwcca.org/vehicle_rebate

I got the $1250.00 incentive from USAA but no customer loyalty money from my dealer. They did throw in some floor and cargo mats, but BMW CCA denied my app for the $500.00 reward because of the USAA incentive. Would have cancelled my membership except I like Roundel mag.

Yes, I was told and undrestood I could either get the $750 loyalty money (comes from BMW Finance) or the USAA money (comes from USAA bank), but not both.

I had not heard that the $1250 USAA incentive disqualified me for the $500 rebate through BMW CCA. I have submitted my BMW CCA app and it was passed by BMW CCA and onto BMW USA - no rejection (or check) yet.

You'll get one. (a rejection.) The BMWCCA disclosure specifically mentions the USAA incentive. You can't do both.

So you have to finance thru USAA bank?

I don't think so. I did not finance, but have USAA for my car insurance, so that qualified me for the incentive.

Hi Everyone,

I've been lurking for awhile and finally pulled the trigger on a X3 35i. I'm still waiting on my '14 to be delivered but I was not eligible for the USAA incentive because you must finance not lease. I decided to lease through BMWFS and was given the "loyalty credit" and a "new customer credit" (equaling the $1250.00 USAA offer) plus we worked out an additional 4k off. I have 3 USAA approved dealers within a 25 mi radius of me here in the Tampa Bay area so I pitted them against each other and was able to get the vehicle at a 8.8% discount of "msrp", essentially $500 under invoice. Not too bad I feel since I loaded it up with everything except Driver Assistant Plus.

Congrats Kilo 3/5, 8.8% off on a X3 35i is an excellent price. Is that with or without the $1250 incentives?

Had an Acadia before the X3. Got rid of it for good reason. No comparison between the two, the bimmer is miles ahead.
The GLK AWD system pales in comparison to the Xdrive as well. Youtube xdrive vs any other system you can think of. Xdrive is the best AWD system on the market IMO. The MDX is nice and the SHAWD is a good system, but I still think the xdrive beats it. Hope this helps.

Thanks X Men, That was not including incentives. They tried that trick but I knew there are dealer kickbacks (from all the great advice and data on this site) and they're still going to make money on the deal. I negotiated the price first then explained I would be leasing not financing. You can finance the USAA incentive through BMWFS or USAA or any other bank for that matter (as long as your a member of USAA) but is not applicable to a lease for the whole $1250.00 only for $500.00 on the X3. Period.
So when they explained that to me after the negotiation were through, I told them we all just wasted our time and I'm walking. Then came the $750 and $500 credits out of the sky like magic. I'm moving out of state within the next month so I really didn't care if I pissed off the CA or the FM. They either want the quota or they don't. They're not there to be my friend and vice versa. Anyhow, all worked out and now I'm just waiting.... impatiently.
