ordering a 2019 x4 m40, there's an option for a M sport differential for 1300 USD. Was wondering about others thoughts on such an option?

I am going in to order it tomorrow, saturday the 21st. I doubt they have an allocation as production has not yet begun, but I will post what I find out

Production started already, actually started a day or two before the first of april. I was at PCD at that time and was told by a production supervisor.

Allocations for X4 30i's are available.

placed the order, he is to get back to me with an update by mid week. there is a production delay on the wheels I want but they already have the same wheel on x3 m40 so he and I do not really think there will be a big wait. My current car took over four months to get so I can wait it out. he says allocations are not an issue for them anymore? we will see. I do not know when production for the 40i begins, everything I had read said 30i's were to begin by june so if they have already started they are ahead of schedule or who ever wrote that article was misinformed. We will see

update, just found a production schedule on bimmerfest forum, says m40i production also begins by end of this month

Can you share a link to where you found the production start for x4 m40i by end of April?

Thanks for posting but unfortunately doesn't provide the info I was looking for. X4's already started production but i'm not sure US allocations are available yet.
