i dropped off the x3 for inspection, creaking noise from center dash and wheel alignment. Today is exactly 1 yr of ownership So i ask my SA make sure everything is on point. So now he tells me its $400 for wheel alignment and camera I said since when does BMW align backup camera, back in March when front tire was replaced thru tire insurance I had wheel alignment and I paid $199..



any1 else have done wheel alignment and had to get backup camera aligned

had wheels aligned this time last year, no mention of messing with a camera.
any other dealer you can take it to? $400 is way over the top for that service.

SA just called said oh i can get it done for 199, I will just make a note that we spoke on the phone...

That dealership loves lying and taking your money man.
I did my own alignment at RCT Performance in Queens (Hunter's Hawk Eye 3D) for $100
He also swapped the RFT to NON-RFT and balanced them for $100, total was $180 because I did both the same day.

I would not pay $200 to bmw, only let them do whatever is free of charge everything else i rather take it to someone outside of stealership.

it was just convenient to do it since the car will be there get it out of the way.
the roads are horrible in NY and im trying to extend the life of rfts.
