Strange problem with Radio Stations...
A strange problem happened with my Radio Stations. For some reason I lost the Radio Station number as shown in the 1st picture and now just have a name (see 2nd picture). This is super annoying!
Does anyone know how to get it back? |

Wild guess here but it looks like the picture on the left is the FM tuner, while the picture on the right is your favorites list. Back out one menu item higher (knob-click-left) to the FM selection. That will get you to the tuner. You will need to rename your favorites to include frequency if you want it, by going into favorites, highlight the one you want to rename. Click option button on controller. Rename Selection.

Actually the picture on the left is from my X1, while the picture on right is from my X3. Nothing was done on the X1 to generate those Radio Stations names and we used to have a similar display in the X3 (but now it's gone). |

Happens to me sometimes. Weird things happen more when the second key is used and then the main key is used after. I may have to play around with it for a while.

It is my understanding that the radio stations are automatically found and put in the list, so when you travel out of town they are auto populated (similar to the manually selected auto-store function that BMW's used to have). There doesn't seem to be any options to mess around with the radio stations, so I'm puzzled as to how/why this happened? Last edited by X3 for sale; 11-21-2013 at 06:42 AM.. |
