Question for M Sport and DHP owners
For those of you who have both the M-Sport and DHP, how often do you drive your DHP in anything else but the Normal setting?
We are about to order an X3 35i with M Sport, Cold Weather, Convenience, Premium, and Technology packages. The question is: Do we go for the DHP? We followed the DHP/M-Sport discussions on this forum and are almost sure we understand the differences. Thanks. Last edited by x3valk; 06-22-2011 at 04:38 PM.. |

I have both, but still on early break-in kms, so haven't been doing anything too wild. I suspect that most of the time, I will leave it in Normal mode; but once in a while..........
It's really up to you and your favored driving style.

My conjecture is that most people will drive it in Normal most (95%) of the time. The hard question is whether the additional enjoyment from driving in Sport+ 5% of the time is worth $1400...for me.

I have had it for less than 24 hours and it's been in and out of Normal/Sport/Sport+ at least 10 times. It may be different for you. I'm trying to see which is best for me but I find Normal would be great for a long freeway drive but in the city and shorter highways I find it too rolly polly for my liking. I'm probably going to set Sport to just make the suspension taught without the change in drivetrain.
