X3 strongly hesitating in acceleration
Hi, lets see who can figure this out. Just today in acceleration my X3 decided to hesitate loosing power; but normal when not doing so; then in idle there would be an occasional skip as if one piston is not working. That is what I thought. On my candid drive home no other symptoms and the piston skip feeling gone. Should I go to the dealership tomorrow? It really made me nervous today...
Thanks for your support guys. |

It should have thrown some code that the dealer could read.

Diagnostic tools might tell the tech something.

You can read codes without using the OBD port by pressing and holding the button on the dash to display diagnostics and system settings. There's a thread on it somewhere in the F10 forum but I can't find the link now.
