Interior color Nevada Mojave

I'm not sure yet which colors to choose for my X3.

It's gonna be
- Sparkling bronze with oyster or beige interior
or
- Mineral silver with the dark brown interior (not the red-ish!).

On bmwusa.com I have seen the color "Mojave". is this the same as the color that's called "Havana" in Europe?

Does anyone have pics of this interior (I only have the one I posted below)? There aren't that much pics of this color available on the web!

Hey thefreeze,

I just ordered my 2011 x3 on Thursday (delivery end of February) and I chose Sparkling Bronze & the Havanna Nevada leather, with Wave Brown wood trim.

I saw this exact combination on a 2011 X5 on the showroom floor, in plenty of daylight and I thought it looked great, but that's just me.

A lead time of just over a month is great! I have to wait until August!

I ordered VRM with Mojave Leather. I'm picking mine up Wednesday. I'll post pics when I have it. The truck is supposed to deliver it to my dealer either tomorrow or Tuesday.

I also ordered SAV package, PP, Premium Audio, Xenons & Satellite Radio.

Our Mojave is quite a bit darker than this color from the configurator - the pic you posted in our chestnut, and what I thought was your red=brown

Confusing that they use different names in others parts of the world :-S

The Mojave with the fine line wave looks very nice!

Fedinand,

Your posted pic above is exactly what I ordered, but with the SB exterior instead of (what looks like) the Silver exterior in the pic you've attached.

As I said, I saw my exact color combo on an X5 in the showroom and it looked pretty "classy" to me.

You're right about that Mojave leather though; it's in fact a lot more brown (dark), whereas the web site configurator almost looks "army olive" in color.

That's the same color config I'm ordering (at least that I will order once we get the 6NR confusion sorted out). Titanium Silver exterior, Fineline Wave wood, and the Mojave leather.

I'd love to see real photos of this setup but at least the online graphic looks great.

I actually went with the Mojave interior but with Silver trim and Jet Black exterior. Hopefully taking delivery within the next 2 weeks I assume since they posted my build video today. I'm excited!

I am ordering my x3 this morning...still don't know whether to go with white or space grey exterior..any thoughts?

But definitely going with mojave interior - does wave wood or brushed aluminum look better with it?

thanks

Either one would look good but I think the silver would look better since it would match the exsisting silver accents. The actual Mojave color is much lighter than what is in the configurator.

Since none of the dealers (at least around me) don't have any samples of exterior or interior colors, and they are unique to the X3 (don't go by similar names), it is amazing to me that people are ordering cars with leather color that they have not seen! We are trying to get down to SC to see if we can spot one. The other question is the carpet color. Of course, people are buying these cars with driving one which is a mistake. The 28 has terrible lag from standing - like a bad turbo. The 35 is a must.

I've yet to see Mojave in person, but Chestnut / Red-Brown (in Canada) do look pretty close to this picture, maybe a bit redder even (like brick colour). I'd say Chestnut and Red-Brown have to be the same colour, as their ordering code is the same (LUCZ).

Chestnut first, then Mojave.

It comes down to personal preference as always. But, if you're looking for opinions (which you are since you posted), thumbs down to the brown on black.

If you mean Chestnut on black, then I'd have to say that the majority would probably disagree with you, seeing that exact colour combination is what BMW chose to use for their E93 brochure a couple of years ago!

I agree. Black and brown..eh. Doesn't do anything for me. It's like seeing a guy wearing a brown belt with black shoes.

I was a little worried about the brown on black also, but BMW of Beverly Hills has a silver 28i with Mojave leather and Sienna wood in the showroom. I just saw it and it looks fantastic! I'm not sold on the Sienna wood combo, I like the grain but wish the shade was darker. Mojave might look great with the wave wood but I haven't seen that combo in person yet.

I snapped a couple photos on my iphone and will upload next time I have it hooked up to a computer.
