800km round trip to the in-laws

Had my 35i for 6 months now, engine's been worn in properly with around 6k on the clock - as if I needed an excuse to go on a long trip, the wife decided we needed to go down to see her parents (400km away)

below 4 hours journey time both ways - check!
fit loads of stuff in boot - check! (couldn't have done the same in our old 325i touring)
kids happy & comfortable in back watching film on tablet wedged between the seats - check!
wife asleep in passenger seat for most of the way - check!
me able to enjoy aftermarket speakers retro-fitted last month - check!

Drove down in a mix of 'Sport' & 'Sport+', back in 'normal' - suprised to find I enjoyed 'normal' more....

Still loving it!
