I have 245/45/18 dunlop winter sports 3D run-flats, lower profile but great tyres.

In Montreal, with all the potholes, the higher the profile, the better you will feel... and save your wheels!
Wider tire are better on pure ice. Narrow tire are better in deep snow. It is a tradeof depending where you drive. If I was still living in Montreal, I would have purchased performance winter tire '245. In my case I took the Dunlop M3 to have good performance in deep snow. Performance tire like Sottozero suck in these conditions. |
