Pre-order Questions on Floor mats and bluetooth

I plan on shopping and perhaps ordering this weekend if the rain and radioactivity in SoCal aren't too bad! I've read on this forum that the X3's are coming equiped with bluetooth without the ZTP package (I don't plan on ordering this). Does the dealer have to specify the 6NL (even though ZTP is req'd) or does it automatically come equiped with the bluetooth? Same question for the iphone cable. Also, I've read here that carpet floormats are being shipped with the car. Are people ordering the mats separately or is the car being shipped with them? I do plan on ordering the 28i with premium sound and the premium package. Thanks

Bluetooth is standard on the X3 regarless of the Nav package. If you want mobile office + emails thru the iDrive, that requires the nav system.

I am unaware about the floormats being included in the car. I thought BMW allways had those as an "option"

You don't need to buy anything extra to get bluetooth to function. It's a bone standard feature on all X3s now. The Y-Cable for the iphone is also included.

Floor mats are never included, but are often "thrown in." You should definitely ask for them and act appalled if they say that they aren't free. Because pretty much every other maker includes floor mats. Your SA will want you to leave happy since his $ is dependent on your survey results.

Got it! Make sure the mats are included in the order and skip the mobile office!

Thanks

Hi,

Orderered my X3 0n 24.01.11. expecting June delivery, now told it will be August!!!!
spec I've gone for is : Bluetooth Telephone preparation, Xenon headlights with LED running lights, Metallic - Black sapphire, Heated front seats, Nevada leather - Black, Service Package, seal & protect.
managed a healthy £1613.66 discount!!! whoohooo!!!
Local dealer wasn't interested so had to go further afield - just wish it would come sooner.

It does but they're velour and I ditched them instantly for all weather mats.

My dealer threw in summer floor mats, but I exchanged it for all season mats, he also mentioned a free full tank of gas. Probably you should consider cargo tray, I have seen two models one for around 300$ and the other one around 100$, I picked the less costlier one and I think that will serve my purpose very well.

Norwegians pay more, and we still have to pay for the mats.

Ask them to throw it in. Most dealers (even Toyota, Honda etc) include the mats.
