I'm now really really confused ..
Got a call this afternoon from my sales guy Car expected in UK this weekend ! Hopefully should have it a week later .. So beginning of May

I wonder whether Andy's car will be the last F25 produced. They seem seem to be saving something special as a surprise.

Well I have an update from BMW customer services this morning ... And the girl I spoke to said she had never seen that status before and didn't know what it means ....
Vehicle status "open workshop job" Northandy maybe you were right ? Anyone know what that means ? Did my car arrive in kit form ? Are they removing the snorkel after driving it across the pond ? Has it arrived in UK ? Best answer gets my last rolo

It appears my car landed in the UK five days ago and is en route to the dealer
Awaiting an update from him .. So close but no cigar ... Yet ! Still haven't a clue what the above status means though

Right ... Time for a update !
Spoke to the dealer this morning who tells the car has been in UK for five days and he needs to sort out collection. I ask for details and he says he hasn't got the file to hand and will ring me back So this afternoon at 1730 I ring back as I haven't heard from him. He rings back at 1750 and says the car will be ready for collection next week and gives me the Reg number of the car. He then starts to go through the figures and as he does so the part ex figures don't add up to me .. So I query it and he the says that the money he is giving for my car is £800 less than we had agreed. He states then that he couldn't give me the price for mine as the price for March he couldn't hold for May delivery ! So without exploding I state that we agreed a price for my car against the new one that I accepted and he agreed. At that time in January we went through the final specs and I added Pro Nav to the car. He said at the time that it would not affect the build slot and subsequently that it did not affect the build slot. As those of you who have followed my trials and tribulations re this car you will know at some pain to yourselves that I was told all along that they didn't know why my car had dropped off the production schedule and it was a complete mystery to them. He then says well your car has done more miles than agreed (about 1500) and it was my spec change that caused the delay and therefore they could not give me the agreed price for the car ! I then say to him at no point since my car was delayed in the first week in February has any mention ever been made of the agreed price not holding .. And believe me I have spoken too him numerous times as evidenced often on hear .. And he has only admitted to it on me querying the figures .. And then blaming me !! I accept that £800 on a £40k cAr is nothing in the big picture however I am a firm believer in 'my word is my bond" and feel that the dealer has tried to have me over on the px price At no point since my car was delayed has any mention been made of a revised trade in figure .. And was only admitted when I queried the figures.. I unfortunately due to being at work was unable to continue the conversation .. But will have to resume it tomorrow My initial feeling that he is breaching his word and therefore the deal is null and void I am going to sleep.pn it .. But will not be giving him an extra £800 and if there is no movement I will be asking for my deposit back Absolutely fuming

So many negative stories on here. Has anyone got a positive one!
Has any ones car arrived on time? Has any ones car arrived early? Has anyone had their car three months after ordering? Going on all the negative news i guess il be waiting till December for mine! Ordered the first week in March- apparently for a June delivery! |
