A Few More Pics of my 2015 M Sport

I can't wait to detail it -- it's been raining here in Denver so it's quite dirty, but here are a few other shots.

If anyone wants specific angles/detail shots let me know and I'll post!

Very nice looking. I ordered almost exact same car. Mine has cold weather instead. Do you have any shots from rear/side? Also any more interior? Thanks!

What are your thoughts on a mild tinting of the front windows?

I plan on tinting my fronts, a bit lighter than the backs.

i have a question and can't really tell. For the msport front bumper, are the front ducts opened or is it just a black plastic piece that does not allow air to pass through? i saw a x5 m sport and noticed that it was a black solid plastic piece that does not have open slots for air passage. Is it the same for u?

Correct, just black plastic.

Definitely! I always tint my front windows on SUVs, or all windows on cars.

Unfortunately BMW's factory "tint" on the rear windows of the X3 isn't all that dark. I am now planning to add very light tint to all the rears to get it to about 20%, then will tint the fronts 20% to match.

Wow, looks great. So funny your car is like a mirror version of what mine will be...rack included. Looks like you did the BMW rack? I'm thinking of the Thule aeroblades.

How do you find the handling and power? I'm coming out of a 335 with Performance Pack so I'm concerned I'm really going to miss the power. But...I'm hoping the handling package makes up for it with some fun. Even though I have a sedan, it's a drive so standard suspension. My understudying is the Handling package is the sport suspension base with adjustable dampers.

Yep, went with the BMW cross bars. Loved the look but felt the gas mileage was far less than I was willing to accept (I saw roughly 8 MPGs less while driving the same way on both test runs using eco pro). Another forum goer mentioned s/he only saw a 1 or 2 MPG difference which would be very reasonable. I may need to give mine another go.

Uhh, the handling is INCREDIBLE. Dynamic handling package simply ROCKS. I drive primarily urban Denver city streets, but have found excuses to go to Boulder, Golden (25-35 minutes one-way each) and everywhere else I can! In comfort/eco pro, it feels more solid and handles the potholes/road imperfections better than our 2014 ML350, which does an incredibly great job itself. I only averaged about 7,000 miles a year in my GLK but I have a feeling that will go up quite a bit in the new X3! Power-wise the 28i is great. I really, really contemplated changing my order to the 35i but very happy I saved the ~$3,000 + I'm getting insanely good fuel economy, I have yet to see MPGs in the teens, and have seen up to 34.5 on the highway using eco pro going about 65MPH. Unless you exclusively drive at high elevation or just love to floor it everywhere you go, I see no reason to "need" the 35i ... it's definitely out of lust, which I get ... it really is an incredible engine! For me, the 28i fits the bill in every single way. While it's been since 2011 since I owned it, I'd be willing to bet this 28i would outperform my loaded 2006 E90 330xi. I don't mind the auto start stop system, I thought that I would but it really isn't a big deal like others make it out to be. I haven't even had the car a week and have only put 200 miles on it but I'm already getting used to it. I'm coding my car on Monday to enable many of the hidden/locked features. Pretty excited. I also just tinted the windows. I really don't think I've ever loved a car as much as this one. I have a strong feeling you'll agree! Post pics when you receive it!

I'm loving the look of your X3! Might consider AW for my next one as it shows the lines of the car and looks so clean! Hope you post more pics!

Yeah, that was probably me. I put my crossbars up the day after your post, I think and found the impact on consumption as expected and OK to live with.

You car looks great. I'm getting DHP with the next one, for sure!

Thanks for circling back and thanks for the compliment.

So you're still seeing just a few MPGs lost? I may reinstall today for another test run ....

Thank you! I'll try to post more this weekend. I'll also try my best to get accurate photos of the saddle brown interior. The photo I posted of it doesn't really do any justice, it's not really that hue or quite that light in person.

Very nice interior as well. I love the fact the X3 has a mature interior, as opposed to the F30/F32. Nothing against our sedan/coupe brethren, but I personally am not a fan of their respective interior layouts.

Zagil9, good job on your selections
