Switchable fuse (for V1 hardwire)?

Hi,

I am in the process of hardwiring a radar detector (V1) and a laser jammer (Lidatek) into my X3. I have read descriptions by folks who hardwired radar detectors into the sunroof assembly - however, since the wires from the Lidatek transponders will be coming in from the engine bay, I would much rather tap a fuse for the V1 and the Lidatek together.

However, when I tried this yesterday, literally every fuse I tried on the front fuse panel - of either size - appeared to be permanently powered (and of course, I need to tap a fuse that is only powered when the car is on). (Of course, accessing the fuse panel behind the glove box isn't a walk in the park, either.) Does anyone know which fuse(s) I should be looking to tap?

Thanks!
