How long does it stay on wheels? Does it slowly peel off or start to chip away? It might be a good winter solution if you have nice wheels. Esp over here when they put grit on the roads.

My buddy did his 03 VW GTI in it, be sure and get the stuff premixed for a spray gun and use a water filter or whatever it's called. That will help too. He peeled his off about 1.5 months after doing it. Came right off.

It stays on until you peel it off, I have used a pressure washer (multiple times) and "car wash" pressure washers and it hasn't come off with direct spray.

I have used a pressure washer to remove it (I didn't apply it thick enough) and you just have to get under the edge and put the nozzle an inch away and spray spray spray, but it takes a while.

Make sure you put on a light base coat then 3+ coats onto of that.

It peels when you get tires put on, so I usually re-apply every time I change tires.

Stuff is awesome.

Wish I saw this sooner. I just wrapped my M3 in fire orange about 2 months ago. I'm still gonna order a can of PlastiDip and find something to spray

Here's the link for my car:

Thanks for advice. I think this stuff is pretty mad especially since you guys are saying it can withstand pressure washing. I feel like spraying something just for the sake of it lol. I'm curious now.

People spray paint OVER plasti-dip w/ some desired color to make it a temporary thing.

From personal experience, the temporary spray paint thing DOES work. However, instead of peeling off as a huge piece of film, it comes off in small little chunks. But it is worth it, if you don't want to shell out the money for a powdercoat or don't want to commit to a powdercoat.
DO NOT PRESSURE/POWER WASH. This dude fucked up the paint on his G35.

Correctly pressure washing on a quality paint job would never be an issue.

^ Agreed. The problem is people go to close to paint or worse than that they use it close to the road surface and it hits stone chips off the car. Pressure washers are a good tool when used properly. I was actually thinking of getting a snow foam attachment for mine. Need to try this stuff lol.

You think the people plastidipping their whole cars know how to correctly pressure wash a car?

You would think he would of stopped the pressure washing when he saw the paint chipping off...

Yet he proceeded to primer his entire car

I read somewhere 3 cans will give 5 layers for all 4 wheels:
