2015 28d CEL issue

Hi all, was wondering if any of you had a similar issue or bugs that can't be found. We have a 2015 xDrive 28d, taken new in Jan2015; now has about 7,300miles. A continuous amber CEL came on after my wife filled it up at Costco with diesel. I'm out of state at the moment but had her check the fuel cap, and the fuel door but did not change. She has taken it to the dealership who thinks it was an O2 sensor, but when I called they had no updates and are contacting New Jersey for 'tech support.' My wife's looking into the lemon laws already.

Don't lemon laws apply more when you have repeated problems? Not just 1? Unless, of course, they can't fix the problem.

Of course not .. One little yellow light and you can reject the car

Heck you can even reject it when it gets dirty !

My wife was a bit weary on dropping a lot of money on a car. Anyway, the dealership flashed the ECU and replaced the O2 sensor. Working fine now.

Can't believe it's been a year! Anyway, the CEL has come on at least 5 times now (11Aug15, 03Feb16, 27Feb16, 11Apr16, 18Aug16 (went off spontaneously), and 31Aug16), currently in the shop now to run codes. Have replaced O2 sensor, lamba sensor (Might be the same), DEF filter sensor, reflashed ECU twice. Fortunately all has been covered by the BMW AG warranty, however I'm in Korea now and they don't honor the 4-year warranty from the US. Fuel economy also took a hit, going from 33mpg to 26mpg.

Also, Handok Motors wants to charge 180,000KRW for an oil change saying it's not covered under warranty. Seems a little steep to me.

Any thoughts or similar problems? We're at 16,800 miles now.
