30D service interval 1 year

my 2012 30D has just had its first service at 16,000 miles and 22 months.

I notice that the car display shows the next service as a further 16,000 miles of Nov 2014 - ie just less than 1 year.

I thought that the reduced service intervals only applied to new vehicles.

Check what that will be, will probably be brakes or fluid, it doesnt mean a full service
