Wipers locked in park position
Hello there, the other day I was cleaning the windshield I noticed that the wipers were hard to move (I always ”slide” them up to clear the hood) I didn’t want to apply excessive force to avoid causing any damage, but I thought it was odd.
I remember reading about a way to make them park where they clear the hood by using the switch or idrive controls. TIA, Ivan. |

Update, I am going to follow the instructions from the manual for Fold-out position, but I am wondering why I was able to manually move them before and not now?
BTW, it’s a 2014 28i. |

I've always had to put them in service mode(12:00) to lift them all the way up. Proper parked position: |

Thanks,
I figured it out, the wiper arms “slide” if you use one on the passenger side. |
