Trim removal guide?

Hi all,

I'm looking for a trim removal guide, specifically for the center console area of the F25. I don't want to start removing unnecessary screws and pieces of trim. Can anyone help me out please?

Thanks!

Me too, is it also true that now the wood/trims for the doors are screwed in and you need to remove the whole door trim?

I'd like to add the power port to the rear part of the console where my car only has a blank panel.

I'll watch this thread for tips.

Me too! I collected my car last week and the first job was to add a mobile phone holder to the dashboard. I had a go at removing some of the dash to find a 12V ignition feed. I started with the mini glovebox on the driver's side under the light switch but gave up with the box stuck part way out! Not good on a car only 48 hours old. After undoing the two obvious screws at the top front of the glovebox I was only able to pull the box out about half an inch and now it wont go back in either. Any tips anyone? Thanks.

Maybe this will assist you, mmdave: http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...34&hg=51&fg=30

For the record, I gave up on my quest of dismantling the center console. I figured the risk of having a constant rattle or squeak outweighed the need for 6NR

That's a brilliant site, it does not quite show me why my mini compartment box is stuck but it gives me a good idea how to get the complete lower panel off so I'm off to try it. Thank you.

Just a quick follow up. I have successfully removed the mini compartment, it has 4 plastic clips, two on each side, pushing the compartment to the left and then pulling the right hand edge hard released the two clips on the right then the left hand ones were easy. Once the compartment is out the clips for the surrounding panels can easily be seen from inside.
