Bluetooth Stop Working
Hi All,
My iPhone 4 does not want to talk to the X3 anymore. I've tried re-pairing and it gets to the PIN entry (car and phone) with no problem but the phone then says please ensure the BMWnnnn is in range and the car says failed to contect. Any one got any ideas? Cheers

Old Post but here is an answer for people who are using jailbroken iphone.
Symptoms : The pairing process is working fine until you enter the code on the idrive, then it goes on a loop and wait for the phone to send back the code which never happen because the iphone never ask to enter the code and then it fail ... Solution : 1) Go to Cydia and install "Safe Mode Launcher" 2) Launch Safe Mode Launcher and your phone will enter "Safe Mode" 3) Then go to the Bluetooth Settings and pair your phone with car 4) The phone finaly ask for the code and it works ...
