I took a bunch of pictures as well when I was having a tire plugged. There is some sort of shock position sensor that is a rotary sensor instead of a linear pot. It looks pretty jank to me. Other than that it looks like a pretty typical automotive suspension. The regular (and unfortunately) single shear members, lower a-arm in bending from the strut, ect.

Main reason I took it was to show the DHP strut difference. I'm pretty sure it's that cylinder coming out of the side of the struts. There were a lot of threads in the past wondering if M Sport came with electronic damper control (DHP) if you didn't order DHP specifically on top of it.

Gave the X3 it's first clay and coat of sealant today, including wheels face and back side. Tomorrow is the interior with leather treatment.

Oh also..the wheels are freaking heavy! I'm guessing the run flats are that much heavier?

The Continental 275-40-19 are 40lb... which is actually only about 6 lb heavier than the non run flat tires.
