I believe Dinan has something for the n55 equiped F25's. Nothing on their website but call your local Dinan Dealer and see if they do. The DME and engine set up is very similar to the F10's.
Glad to hear it. Did you or your dealer do the mod? Does your dealer have any warranty issues because of the mod? I know my dealer said they have had no warranty issues with Dinan.

Eco Pro could save you fuel as I understand the published figures have to be taken from the mode the vehicle defaults to upon start up, which isn't Eco Pro?? Eco Pro mode will then show the savings you are making over that mode.

Well hard for me to answer that question... but I work for the dealer

I haven't been through service yet, but all the guys know I have it. As long as nothing was caused by it should be good to go.

I'd like to have them but they are very incremental. The button label has changed and the software has been enhanced a little, that's it.

Who would use Eco-Pro mode anyway- like Stop/Start it's just designed to optimise the regulatory fuel and CO2 tests, not for the real world.

I would really like the torque and hp displays though. I'd have a lot of fun with that
When I got my 2006 325i it really sucked when they came out with the 328i a year later and all that went with it i.e. more power etc. I tried to tell myself the changes didn't matter, but of course they did. Being a BMW early adopter has its cache but it can also sting.

Yes, but an engine upgrade is significantly different to a couple extra screens on the iDrive.

A couple of extra iDrive screens AND the N20 which IS an engine upgrade. We can debate all day about the merits of the N52 vs the N20 however the N20 is brand new and is the latest and greatest from Bavaria. One could also argue for the greatness of the N54 vs N55. These debates notwithstanding it is nice to have the latest from Bimmer.

I own the N52 in my 325i and like it a lot and I drove a 2012 X3 with it as well. I can say objectively it is inferior to the N20. The inline 6 has its merits but I don't have a blind allegiance to it. The fact is the N52 lacks low end and always requires one to wring it out all the time. As joyous as that can be most times one just wants some snappy low end around town. Let's not forget the infamous throttle delay issues with that motor and the X3. Software can't fix a motor that inherently lacks low end torque and responsiveness.

BTW I drove the N20 in the X1 and it is a rocket pure and simple. If you look at most reviews of the new 3 series they say that the 328i is the one to go for and it is hard to justify the 335i because they are that close.

So just a couple iDrive screens? Not quite.
