German auto test compared MB, Audi, BMW and Infiniti in issue 1/2012.

Nice Review

Have not seen this review anywhere in the list of posts above so thought I would share it.

Looks like a decent review

I thought it was quite good. It isnt a comparison but does seem to give all the details.
It doesnt seem to be produced by an auto website / magazine but seems like an in-house sort of review considering it appears on the Coopers BMW website and not on the wider web

Nothing special but I found the summary amusing.

Ok, so its not in English, but I thought it was an unusual review and worth sharing.

P.S. There is a short into to a hover craft in preparation for a "race" on a dirt track at the end of the sequence.

Bluetooh wireless funtion

BMW advertises that standard equipment on the 2013 BMW X3 is a “3-spoke leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel with controls for audio system, cruise control, and Bluetooth® wireless communication for hands-free mobile phone.” Per the manufacturer’s website you should be able to browse your phonebook contacts and place a call by using the multi-function steering wheel controls - see: http://www.bmwusa.com/standard/conte...nvenience.aspx

Has anyone had any luck getting this function to work? Thanks!

A car's looks will seldom if ever please everyone. To me the new X3 looks fantastic and the Audi Q5, Range Rover Evoque and Honda CRV (to name some other SUVs) are nowhere near as good-looking. Its all in the eye of the beholder!

Just bought 2013 X3 for wife she wants nets behind the front seats

I am a bit new to the BMW world so excuse my ignorance in asking this but I just bought 2013 X3 for wife she wants nets behind the front seats. She saw them in pictures on other X3s so are they stock and the previous owner removed them? Can they be ordered because I don't see them on the BMWUSA site.

Thanks,
JohnnyL

That net may be part of the Storage Package (493), which wasn't standard for the '13 model year - it was included in the Premium Package. I think that it became standard for the '14 model year. She's really not missing much. I have the back-of-seat net on my '11, and it's so tight that it's a struggle to put so much as a magazine in there.
