From the BMW Germany website

BMW iX3

With the BMW Concept iX3, BMW is presenting a design study on the first fully electric Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) at Auto China 2018. Equipped with the BMW eDrive technology of the 5th generation and a high-performance battery with more than 70 kWh, the future production vehicle will offer a daily driving range of over 400 km with a charging time of 30 minutes. The BMW Concept iX3 thus enables electric driving on a new level.

The range & charge time sound good. And I’m glad BMW are basing it on a proper car, rather than trying to design something garish, like all the other manufacturers.

"Proper car" as in car with a combustion engine and an intake grill?
So they just have to put in a "grill" there even though it is non-functional and there is no reason to do so?

And no, there are "non-garish" EVs without the need to imitate a traditional combustion engine car.

Stop being pedantic, you know the intent here. It's based on a normal car body shape rather than something designed by a drug addict.
