Hi, I am actually wanting to get spacers and wanted to get an idea how itll look, but its kinda misleading, at first you said 10mm front 15mm rear, then you said 12mm rear 15mm front, can I know exactly how it is so I know what size to get? Is it 12 and 15 or 10 and 15? Which one front? Thanks bud!

I have a quick post on mine with spacers. Check out this thread in this same forum http://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1479413. I have 20 mm rear and 20mm front but front right side rubs occasionally. Front left does not rub.

The engine in the M2 and X4M40i are the same N55B30T0.
The M40i does not have the same engine like the M2 - its just a different tune. The intercooler and the downpipe is the same on the M2 and M40 like on all other N55s but the M2 has S55 pistons and a slightly bigger turbo and different exhaust manifold. The M40 does not have this - same turbo like all other EWG N55s

Engine is same, just different tuning and turbo.

According to realoem.com parts the X4 M40i turbo is unique as it slightly needs to be and the M2 is different as well. The exhaust manifold is also different and sound tuning from the sport exhaust as the M2 and X4 M40i just sound way louder and different than other N55.

The X4 M40i uses same High Performance Spark Plugs found in M2, M3, M4, M5, M6, X5M, X6M.
You already know the X4 m40i has forged steel crankshaft, pistons with a modified top ring, and new crankshaft bearings.
BMW has also retuned the suspension, adding adaptive dampers tuned to M performance specs, in addition to giving the front axle increased camber.

Thanks bud, looks sick and I saw yours too...mine is the same color 🙌🏻, however I want to go with smaller spacers...did you notice any handling improvements? I want to go either 12.5 front 15 back or 15 all together...I am also thinking about understeer issue by putting wider in the back, but I like the look of wider in the back than front...I dont know car has a bit of understeer issue 🤔 or maybe put 15 front 12.5 in the back to eliminate understeer...cant decide

Car rides perfect and corners great. I am going with the 20mm because it looks good, bit next time i take tires off will put 15mm in front to prevent the rubbing. I haven't tracked the car yet so not worried about understeer. I do know that 12.5 mm won't be enough for these cars. I say 15 mm minimum.
