Tyres size problem

Hello,

I am new in here so sorry if there is a thread similar to this I couldn't find it. So I have X3 3.0 SD m sport packet. My wheels are 19" style 191. So the front rims are 8.5j ET46 and the one in the back are 9j ET51. The normal size for those rims are 235/45/19 in front and 255/40/19 in the back. Because the front size if very difficult to find here my question is can I put 255/40/19 on the four wheels and will that be a problem for my xdrive?
Normally from what I was told on 8.5j the maximum size that I can mount is 255 without stretching the tire.

My X3 had 19x8.5 style 150s at all four corners. The tires were 255/40-19s on all 4. The tires fit with no problems at all. The ODs in your setup might be slightly different because of the 1/2" difference in width from front to rear. I doubt the difference would have any impact. I know 191s are hard to find, but maybe you should try to get two more in 19x8.5 to be safe.

Note: I just saw he date of your post. Maybe you already found something, but there is my two cents just in case.
