The rear wheel bias that's mentioned for the DHP - is it always configured that way or only when you select the sport mode ?
Same for the sport automatic - does the mapping change to the sport settings (when sport is selected) or is it a permanent re-map ?
Are the ratios the same in the sport automatic ?
Honestly the "more rear wheel bias" always puzzles me. As the X3 do NOT have an actual center differential.... There is just a electronically controlled clutch pack in the middle, when the rear wheel slips the clutch engages and transfer power to the front axle.

I don't see how much more " RWD " can you get than this setup, from the Performance Control option. The only thing I can think of is maybe engage the clutch less when the rear wheel spins? But you will have to be slipping quite a bit before you can feel the difference...

I find that referring to the F25 Training Manuals, which are posted here, sometimes helps to clear things up for me. At other times thy just confuse me more, LOL. Have a look at the Powertrain manual.

+1. My thoughts exactly.

You could always remove your front drive shaft to have the pure RWD experience.

It's not supposed to be 50/50 in the first place so however they get 60/40 may give a clue to 80/20. With PC it feels like 80/20 in the dry when really pushing it.

If we read the F25 Chassis Dynamics PDF (http://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=803813), we'll realize that Performance Control isn't actually the split between the rear axle and the front axle. It's actually talking about torque vectoring via brakes. The real problem is the lack of a mechanical limited slip rear differential.
