Again, the first of the Canadian "poor us" whiners emerge.

Have you checked or do you get that from the article? We have an updated interface in the UK (it was changed at the start of the month). Already added some RSS feeds to mine

What does it give you? Do I need to spec anything in the car I order? And is it available to Aussie X3ers?

Do I have to download something from BMW to have this update or it does automatically?

Is there any "Canadian whiners" like me that have that update?

Haldol,

Just to keep things in perspective, US whiners outnumber Canadian whiners when Diesel engines are referred to. Then there are those European and Oz whiners who have a wait measured in months for their X3 when US and Canadian whiners have a wait measured in weeks. It's all good, and there's always someone located in a different country who is lusting after some feature/option/wait that someone in another country enjoys.

It's automatic. No downloads needed. I think all that has changed is the home web page and the menus/navigation you follow from that point forward so you wouldn't need an update as it's all hosted on the website. They have also added custom RSS feeds which you can manage on the bmwassist website

See this thread for some screenshots http://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=620556

My X3 20d SE was $69k CAD so it's not all bad
