Any preordered Navdy ? for X3

Hello,
Anyone here pre-ordered Navdy? http://www.navdy.com

It is on a 40% discount while on preorder and will be shipped early 2015. It looks like a great device and a great addition to in-car gadgetary to do HUD type display.
They say it needs the OBD II port. Thats how it powers itself and also gets stats from the car. Can anyone here confirm that this port is easily accessible and useable on X3 - LCI ?

Please let me know - I am planning to pre order it for my LCI X3.
Thanks

It looks a bit bulky on top of the binnacle - as with any of these new devices, I'd let it go through a couple of design iterations so they can work out the bugs before I'd invest in one

the obdII port is located under the dash, to the left, right above your left knee. Easy to access. could be useful for those that do not have HUD.

let us know if you get it.

The device seems interesting but I would not add it to my car. The location of the ODBII port on the door rim would make the permanent connection very out of place... Imagine that if you have the beige interior instead of black (that's my case).

I can't imagine cabling running out of the ODB II port, there has to be some kind of bluetooth dongle device to make it functional. And by the way, how do you keep the battery charged?

Yup - was able to locate it. It had a cover labeled OBD. Thanks for that. I never bothered looking in there.

Well Inhave beige interiors as well. assuming the cable is black it will be one odd setup. looks like it needs it for power and getting essential parameters off the bus.
